TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Wear strip is typically used where a guide ring size is not economical for manufacture or shipping due to size.
It allows the service engineer to create the guide ring onsite at a lower cost and at shorter notice to the specification required.
In addition, wear strip is the perfect solution for service engineers to carry with them to replace wear rings from 80mm and above where time doesn’t allow for parts to be ordered (i.e. breakdown scenarios).
